One number per page, with real things to count
Counting starts with things you can touch. So the book goes one number at a time: 1 big moon, 2 shoes for 2 feet, 3 bananas for the trip, all the way to 10 stars. The big number sits at the top of the page, the things to count are big and clear, and the line underneath counts them out loud with you.
Then three quick-look pages show small groups to spot without counting one by one, and a family page lines up everyone in your book to count together.

How to use number flashcards at home
Touch each thing as you count it, one touch per number. Ask “How many?” and give your child time to answer. Then count something real: shoes by the door, blueberries on a plate, stairs on the way to bed.
Short and often beats long and rare. A few pages before bed is plenty, and the Talk Time tip on each page gives you a question to ask.

Can I add a birthday page?
Yes. Tell us the age your child is turning and they get a page with a cake and the right number of candles to count. Leave it empty to skip it.
Is this a box of loose cards or a book?
A book. Each page works like a big flashcard: one clear word, letter, animal or number, with your child in the picture.
